With 96.11 percent of ballots counted, the Yeni (New) Azerbaijan Party had won 63 of the national assembly's 125 seats - down from 74 in the previous parliament but still well ahead of rivals, Central Election Commission spokesman Azer Sariyev told AFP.
The opposition coalition Azadliq, which claims the poll was rigged, officially won only six seats, divided between the Musavat Party with four and the Popular Front with two.
